As far as the actual product goes, it has the usual SHARP Spyderco edge, this one being fully serrated.Though not an overwhelmingly popular edge configuration, this is particularly well suited to a saltwater environment, easily cutting through rope, netting, and fish bones & scales, with the added advantage of rust proofing due to its metallurgy. Using nitrogen instead of carbon to alloy the iron into a usable blade material, the metal can not rust. The fitting are FRN ( fiberglass reinforced nylon ), making them also rust and corrosion proof. The included sheath, itself made of FRN, holds this knife securly to the belt and is ambidexterous.
